2013-2014 Dining Plans

All on-campus residential students, except for those accepted to special housing programs, are required to participate in a meal plan.

As you review the details of each below, consider your current eating patterns, as well as your class, social, studying, sleeping and exercise schedules to choose the plan that best meets your needs. Please note that a BLOCK has a $5 value when dining on campus. All Dining Services’ locations have menu boards and/or item cards with their product pricing. Generally speaking, a full meal may constitute two blocks, whereas single blocks can be used for small meals/snacks or individual items. Traditions locations (Kennedy, Morrill & North) are all-you-care-to-eat facilities and accept blocks at a rate of 1 block for breakfast and 2 blocks for lunch or dinner.

*Your BuckID, the official Ohio State University ID, serves as the access card for using dining meal plans. It also separately holds a debit card account balance that can be used at any one of the 100+ local merchants that accept BuckID, including our dining locations. Additional deposits can be made at any time. While BuckID dollars are yours until you graduate, all meal plans expire at the end of each semester. BuckID cash can also be used for additional flexibility (i.e. a total bill of $5.30 can be covered with one block, plus $0.30 BuckID cash)

**Please note that meal plans and fees undergo a lengthy review and approval process and have not yet been finalized for the 2013-2014 year. Overview and rates provided here are for planning purposes; they are subject to modification and final approval by the president and the Board of Trustees.

For students attending our ATI, Newark or Mansfield campuses, or commuting to the Columbus Campus, we offer additional BLOCK-O plans conducive to your mobility in and around campus.
