Fisher College of Business is dedicated to maintaining a reputation as one of the top public business schools in the United States. In keeping with this commitment to excellence, Fisher College of Business is pleased to offer the Business Honors Learning Community.

The Business Honors Learning Community focuses on helping participants become successful business students and citizens through an approach which fosters team building, practical experiences, service learning, academic achievement and leadership initiatives.

Features
  • Ability to take a clustered class with other LC members
  • Opportunity to live with other LC students on the same residence hall floor
  • Significant interaction with faculty, staff and business executives
  • Participation in service-learning initiatives
  • Opportunity to develop leadership skills through programming, StrengthsQuest, and low/high ropes courses
  • Ability to work with and learn from sponsor company executives and to participate in special programs (executive lunches, career workshops and case study competition)
  • Mentoring received from upper-class honors students and the opportunity to mentor future honors LC students
  • Group Trip to a Major Metropolitan Area
  • Early Arrival Program (August 16-17, 2013)
  • Clustered Orientation Session (June 10-11, 2013)

Application Instructions
  • Students applying for this program must be business majors who have been admitted to the OSU Honors Program.
  • Students interested in being a member of the Business Honors Learning Community must complete the Learning Community Interest Form by April 15, 2013.
  • If you have been accepted, complete your Housing Contract (which will be sent to your OSU e-mail account following your paid acceptance to the university) by May 31, 2013 to ensure proper placement with other Business Honors LC students. Your contract and space reservation fee must be submitted by this time. On your contract, please make sure you select Taylor Tower as your requested place of residence.
