The W. K. Kellogg Foundation and Bobby Moser Food Security and Sustainability Living-Learning Community will focus on the topics of food security, community engagement, leadership and sustainability by challenging students to address the issues related to creating secure, resilient and sustainable food systems in environmentally and socially responsible ways.

Students will be asked to think holistically on these topics and engage in initiatives that address challenges related to food security in a way that contributes to the health and well-being of society without causing harm to the environment and ecological systems. Students could learn about food production and security, local foods, hunger, food systems, community development, civic engagement, global sustainability, social responsibility, justice and equity, public policy and leadership. Participating students will engage with faculty, student organizations and the campus community during meetings, seminars, activities and projects throughout the year.
